The short version: We never sell your data or share your connections with third parties. The free plan is supported by ads — upgrade to Pro to go ad-free. Your relationship data is encrypted and belongs entirely to you.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, including your name and email address. We also collect information you add to the app — contact names, notes, and relationship details. Additionally, we collect basic usage data (features used, session frequency) and device information (device type, operating system) to improve the service. We do not collect your contacts list without explicit permission.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Tendvivo service, send you reminders and notifications you've requested, respond to your support inquiries, and communicate important updates about the service. The free plan is supported by ads served within the app — we do not build profiles to sell to third parties, and ads are never targeted using your relationship data. Your contact notes and relationship details are never used for advertising purposes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Full stop. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as cloud infrastructure providers), but these providers are bound by strict data protection agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We implement industry-standard security practices and regularly review our security measures. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and export your data in a portable format. You can exercise these rights directly within the app or by contacting us at support@tendvivo.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Tendvivo is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
8. Third-Party Services
Tendvivo may integrate with third-party services (such as calendar apps or contact sync) with your explicit permission. These integrations are governed by the privacy policies of the respective third parties. We encourage you to review those policies before connecting any third-party services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending you an email. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
